Note - we are in the process of transitioning our dogs from the MDBA, of which we are no longer affiliated (by our choice as of April 2024), and into the ACS (members in November of 2024).  The ACS is the only registry that registers ONLY Australian Cobberdogs, and is actively taking steps to assure its recognition as a pure breed of dog by a major Australian dog registry, and eventually, the AKC.  The ACS requires documentation of clearances (does not accept “clear by parentage” or our word for it that our vet checked them thoroughly), and many other additional health clearance  documents not required by the MDBA. As these documents are provided  to the ACS, those dogs will be given a registration number and moved to a separate ACS page on our website, as required by the ACS. Not all of our current dogs will be registered with the ACS as they are near retirement age (we will enter their offspring instead), and some will be dual registered with the ACC,  however, we are still following the ACS’ guidance in the development of our breeding program until document compliance is met.  This is a lot of extra work for those of us transitioning over, but we believe strongly that the ACS is doing what is best for the breed rather than what is best for the breeder.  Please be patient with us during this transition.
